ABOUT
Welcome to my website,

I have always enjoyed ‘making’ from a very early age – knitting, crochet, dressmaking etc. My proudest creation was my daughters wedding dress and the accompanying bridesmaid and flower girl dresses.
More recently I decided to turn my hand to making a ‘friendship’ bracelet for one of my granddaughters. I taught myself the technique of Macrame, the ancient art of knotting cord, and completely fell in love with it.

I find Macrame a wonderful way to relax and forget all the worries and stresses of day to day life, whilst at the same time, producing beautiful items of jewellery in a matter of only a few hours!

The majority of the jewellery components that I use are either silver plate or gold plate, which enables me to keep my prices reasonably low, but bearing in mind allergy problems, all my earring hooks are sterling silver or gold plated sterling silver.
To create the intricate designs, the cords I use are either quality waxed nylon or waxed polyester satin, known as 'Rattail', and range from 1mm down to 0.3mm in width, which gives this form of macrame the title 'Micro-macrame'.

None of my pieces of jewellery are duplicated – if there is more than one item in the same design, it will be in a different colour and bead arrangement, meaning each piece is as unique as I can possibly make it.

I really hope you can find something in my collection of jewellery to fall in love with, and thank you for visiting my website.
